The IF14 Speciale is not just an evolution of an existing model—it’s a completely new platform developed in Europe by a team of racing champions, including designer Francesco Martini Coveri, brand manager Kenji Taira, and driver Bruno Coelho. The goal of this project was to redefine performance standards in the touring car segment without compromise.
Design & Materials
- Full aluminum core: All aluminum parts are prototyped and manufactured in Italy for maximum precision and rigidity.
- Shock tower centering system: Both front and rear feature a central mounting system with a single screw—reducing parts, weight, and maintenance time.
Chassis & Tuning Options
- Chassis choices: Standard 2.2 mm carbon or 2.0 mm 7075-T6 aluminum for high-grip tracks—both offering optimal balance between flex and stability.
- Top deck variants: Front, rear, and wave designs in 1.6 mm or 2.0 mm—tailored for different flex behaviors and track conditions.
- Suspension arms: Standard (soft) and hard versions with identical geometry—allowing increased stiffness on high-grip tracks without setup changes.
- Wheel hubs: Multiple plastic options (soft or hard) for fine-tuning based on grip and driving style.

- 40/22T → Final ratio 1.818 for smoother cornering on high-grip tracks
- 38/20T → Final ratio 1.900 for more aggressive throttle response on tight layouts
- Both belt and pulley sets are standard—low-friction pulley options available separately.
Center Pulley & Motor Mount
- Center bearing: Four integrated bearings ensure smooth rotation and stability.
- Motor mount: Solid aluminum design optimized for structural rigidity with minimal weight.
Weight Distribution & Fine Tuning
- USP shock concept (Ultra Short Profile): Extremely compact design with full functionality for a lower center of gravity.

- Motor mount screws: Adjustable flex and stiffness (1 to 4 screws).
- Deck torsion shimming:
- 3×4×0.1 mm shim → more flex
- 4×5×0.1 mm shim → more stiffness and clamping force

- Shock springs: Progressive and linear options available—adaptable to various track conditions.
